RAID is a flexible, print-at-home tabletop gaming system with elements of role-playing and wargaming. It features

  • Innovative, card-based inventory management.

With the RAID system, you can create games where intrepid adventurers delve into dungeons to loot treasure, Vikings raid Saxon villages or Iron Age clans struggle for survival in a harsh wilderness.

Bundled with RAID is The Rift of Stars, an introductory adventure featuring wilderness survival mechanics. The Rift of Stars can be played by 1-3 players without the need for a GM to moderate the session. To play, you will need access to a printer, as some of the physical game assets (such as loot and skill cards) must be printed and cut out!

The RAID System Reference Document (SRD) and the bundled scenario do not contain any art. The physical game assets are designed to use very little printer ink.

RAID is ultimately the result of a TTRPG design class I attended in London, taught by the great Grant Howitt. While working on the yet-to-be-released game that originated there, I decided spin out the bare rules and see if they would work in other scenarios and backgrounds.
